  1. This survey was too dam long

    1. My apologies. The next one will be half a second long. :)

  2. Annie, I’m on the panel for Research Now online in the UK. They have some humungous grids!

    1. What? How is that possible? Isn’t there a question to screen out researchers? Oh, sarcastic me! :)

  3. ha ha i stopped at how long is too long. Despite being 1 sec surveys, there are quite a few there. 10 min is the maximum. Sometimes 5 min could be too much

  4. I’ve seen some horrible attribute grids like that on Zoomerang. Not only are they unapproachable by the taker, I’m not the designer and keep the answers straight enough to do anything actionable with the data.

Annie, sorry if I’m the 100th person that told you this, your question about longest grid has ‘up to 35′ as option one and I think it should be ‘up to 25′.

    Love your site and tweets.

Touche’! Looks like side effects from Zoomerang on servoids. (Survey Steroids) ;-)

  7. Regarding attribute grids: Check this one out — http://ow.ly/6TTy

Before I shrank it, it didn’t even fit on a 21″ monitor.

I’m thinking the GIGO effect wasn’t considered when this was constructed.

    1. you’re right! that’s certainly a contender for worst grid ever!

    2. Whoever programmed this grid had never heard of loops (or maybe the survey software platform was “stupid” and did not allow programming loops)
